What is remote scoring?

Remote scoring is the process of evaluating tests, assignments, or assessments from a location outside of a traditional office or testing center, typically from home. Remote scorers review and grade student responses according to standardized rubrics provided by testing organizations or educational companies. This job usually requires a computer, internet access, and sometimes specific qualifications or experience in education or a related field. It offers flexibility and can be a good option for those seeking part-time or seasonal work.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Scorer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Scorer, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in education or assessment, often supported by a bachelor's degree. Familiarity with online scoring platforms and secure digital communication systems is typically required. Excellent written communication, time management, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills in this role. These skills ensure accurate, consistent evaluation of student work and effective collaboration with remote teams, which are essential for maintaining assessment integrity.

About the role
The Manager, Growth Marketing owns the execution of digital demand generation programs that drive new pipeline and support customer expansion. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of paid media, SEO/AEO tactics, and nurture programs — building and running the channels that move prospects and customers through the funnel.

This role works within the Revenue Marketing team. Strategy, account prioritization, and program sequencing are set by the Sr. Director of Revenue Marketing; the Manager, Growth Marketing executes the digital and programmatic programs that bring that strategy to life.
Why this job is exciting

Digital demand generation

  • Execute paid search, paid social, display/retargeting, and content syndication programs in support of pipeline targets set by Revenue Marketing
  • Implement SEO and AEO tactics in partnership with the SVP of Marketing and Content team
  • Run A/B testing and conversion rate optimization across landing pages, forms, and CTAs
  • Track and report on conversion from lead to qualified pipeline, including MQL-to-SQL rates and channel-level performance

Nurture and lifecycle programs

  • Build and manage nurture sequences, lead scoring logic, and lifecycle email programs within the marketing automation platform
  • Support programmatic customer growth through automated adoption sequences, expansion triggers, and engagement programs
  • Partner with CS and Revenue Marketing on lifecycle and expansion program execution

Marketing operations collaboration

  • Work with the marketing ops function on Salesforce/HubSpot reporting, attribution, and data hygiene
  • Coordinate on lead management, routing, and lead scoring optimization
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact with marketing ops, flagging issues and keeping programs running cleanly
About you
  • 4–6 years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing in B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Comfortable owning paid media execution across search, social, and display
  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution models and pipeline reporting
  • Experience building or maintaining nurture and lifecycle programs
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a bias toward action over analysis
  • Experience with intent signal platforms (6sense, Demandbase) is a plus
  • Comfortable operating with some ambiguity and building programs without a lot of pre-existing infrastructure

What success looks like

  • Paid media campaigns are live, optimized, and tied to clear pipeline targets within 30 days of start
  • AEO tactics are implemented and Syndio appears in top results on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI search tools for target queries
  • Nurture programs are running with measurable conversion rates and clear visibility into where leads qualify or fall out
  • Reporting is clean and attribution is reliable — pipeline reviews are grounded in numbers the team trusts
Why you'll love it here:
  • 💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $146,000 -$176,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.
  • 🏆 Syndio Equity. So you can share in Syndio's success.
  • 🏝 Flexible Vacation Policy. We encourage our team to recharge when they need to, plus paid sick & safe time, compassion leave, and voting leave.
  • Paid parental leave
  • 🩺 Medical, Dental, Vision. Syndio pays 90% of employee premiums, and 50% for dependents.
  • 🏥 Life Insurance & Disability. Syndio covers the full premium.
  • 🏦 401(k). To help you save for your future
  • Fully remote model - #LI-Remote
