As an LCSW at Inner Journey Wellness Center, you will undertake a range of rewarding responsibilities aimed at enhancing the emotional and psychological well-being of our students:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and solution-focused methodologies.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy when working with younger clients to meet their unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including educators and school psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to promote continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, providing them with tools to thrive.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on children, adolescents, and families within a school context. You will provide individual and group therapy, addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and trauma. Your interventions will promote resilience and equip students with coping skills to navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, demonstrating your expert knowledge in the field.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas, signifying your commitment to high ethical standards in practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, with a specialization in providing psychotherapy services being essential.
• Proficiency in implementing solution-focused therapeutic interventions, showcasing your ability to facilitate meaningful change.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively connect and empathize with clients and their families.
