Sun Valley Consultation Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our Detox Center staff includes various medical and support professionals who prioritize patient-centered practices, enhancing the overall treatment experience.

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess patient needs and eliminate barriers to treatment, tailoring interventions based on their unique circumstances.
• Provide outpatient mental health therapy using evidence-based practices and a range of therapeutic modalities, both individually and in group settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively with patients, integrating their feedback to ensure their goals align with their care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously in medical records, adhering to confidentiality standards and professional guidelines.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery, providing insights into each patient’s psychosocial status to better inform treatment strategies.
• Engage in patient and family education, empowering them to understand and navigate their treatment options effectively.
• Remain active in community resource networks, enhancing advocacy for patients and their families to access necessary support systems.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in social work and mental healthcare.

The LCSW in this role will primarily assist individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We work with diverse populations, including adults from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and focus on creating individualized treatment plans that respect and consider cultural and developmental factors. Our holistic approach aims to address issues that may impede patients’ psychosocial functioning, empowering them towards recovery.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the State of Illinois.
• Demonstrated aptitude in applying social work practices that respect the comprehensive needs of patients.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

• At least 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience in health or mental health settings, particularly working with substance use and mental health disorders.
• Knowledge and skill in employing therapeutic techniques tailored to the varying developmental and cultural needs of clients.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, enhancing integrated care for patients.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
