This role is best suited for a CFP professional who brings both technical depth and exceptional interpersonal skill - someone who can translate complex financial strategies into clear, confident guidance and who takes genuine ownership of client outcomes and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the trusted lead advisor for up to approximately 120 HNW client households - delivering clear, prioritized financial guidance, leading all client-facing engagements, and ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident in their financial direction.

2. Financial Planning & Advisory Delivery
  • Interpret and refine planning outputs generated within the firm's structured planning system
  • Deliver prioritized, actionable financial guidance across:
    • Investment strategy and portfolio positioning
    • Tax-aware planning and optimization
    • Retirement income and accumulation planning
    • Risk management and insurance review
    • Estate planning fundamentals
  • Communicate complex strategies in a manner that is clear, accessible, and meaningful to each client

3. Internal Coordination & Execution
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning Associate and Investment Operations Associate to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables
  • Delegate appropriately within the pod structure while maintaining accountability for overall client experience
  • Ensure all planning outputs, action items, and follow-throughs are completed accurately and on time

4. Firm Growth & Professional Representation
  • Uphold the firm's standards of excellence in every client interaction and external engagement
  • Participate in firm initiatives, process improvements, and team development as appropriate

Success in this role is measured by the quality and longevity of client relationships. Key performance indicators include:
  • Client retention and renewal rates
  • Client engagement levels and meeting participation
  • Responsiveness and follow-through on client commitments
  • Overall client confidence and satisfaction in the advisory relationship
  • Contribution to firm growth through referrals and professional representation

Qualification & Required Experience
Required
  • Active Series 65/66 or equivalent advisory license
  • 3+ years of client-facing financial planning & advisory experience
  • All licenses and designations must be valid and in good standing
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, tax-aware planning, retirement, risk management, and estate fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships independently and with confidence

Preferred
  • CFPยฎ designation (or actively in progress)
  • Experience working within a team-based or pod advisory model
  • Familiarity with structured financial planning systems and client engagement cadences
  • Track record of strong client retention and satisfaction

Skills & Attributes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - able to simplify complexity without losing substance
  • High emotional intelligence and genuine care for client wellbeing
  • Strong organizational discipline and ability to manage a large, active client book
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a bias toward follow-through
  • Collaborative team player who operates effectively within a structured pod model
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial and personal client matters
  • Comfortable operating in a high-accountability, results-oriented environment

Benefits
  • Work from home
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and voluntary life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation and sick days
  • Paid holidays
  • Potential for bonus of up to 20% of base compensation annually, tied to client outcomes and relationship metrics
  • Unlimited upside through AUM-based and insurance revenue participation - compensation scales directly with client outcomes, relationships longevity, and overall firm growth
