As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in the treatment and recovery of clients facing mental health challenges. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each client’s unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans in line with evidence-based practices.
• Delivering a range of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), facilitating effective modalities grounded in current research.
• Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment adjustments.
• Collaborating with an integrated care team to coordinate treatment initiatives, sharing insights and strategies during regular case consultations and peer review sessions.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and local resources to empower them in their health journeys.
• Staying informed about advancements in mental health methodologies and integrating this knowledge into practice to enhance client outcomes.
• Managing a full caseload effectively, ensuring that each treatment goal is met promptly while upholding ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

The primary focus of this role involves working with individuals undergoing detoxification, often facing significant mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. You will engage with a diverse client base, advocating for their needs while providing empathetic and tailored support throughout the recovery process.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically in therapy and mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and a commitment to employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.

• Experience working in a detox or substance recovery center is preferred.
• Additional certification in specialized therapeutic modalities or trauma-informed care.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans catering to varied client needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
