As an Satellite Systems Engineer on our team, you'll translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting and managing emerging satellite architectures for national security space programsWith your guidance, we'll help transform the way national space programs use technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have:

• Experience with DoD or IC satellite or ground systems
• Experience with mission systems and interfacing with mission management planners and operators on a technical level
• Knowledge of mission needs and conveying capabilities of software platforms
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with satellite mission management systems
• Experience developing solutions in classified Cloud environments in the Intelligence Community or DoD
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with Linux and Cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps software development
• Knowledge of automation techniques or artificial intelligence and machine learning
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
