Personnel Security Specialist
The Opportunity:
Processes and maintains company and government inspectable records and procedures for employees to obtain and maintain government security clearances or positions of trust. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.
In this role, you'll provide daily support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP security activities within a multilevel classified DoW environment by maintaining and auditing company and government-inspectable records, clearance documentation, and personnel security files. Prepare, review, and track clearance nominations for Air Force and national level approval authorities. Advise the government security officers on personnel security policies, SAP and SCI access requirements, and quota management.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Department of War Personnel and Industrial Security program administration
  • Experience performing multi-disciplined security in Special Access Program (SAP) environments
  • Experience with multilevel SAP and SCI classified security operations
  • Experience with DOW systems and processes including Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP)
  • Experience managing and maintaining facility clearances following processes and procedures of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and the National Industrial Security Program
  • Knowledge of security policy, manuals, the appropriate DoW, Intelligence Community Directives, Director of Central Intelligence Directives, and guiding policy documents
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with DOW Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO) and Program Security Officer (PSO) programs and management
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
