This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a regular work schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be equipped with advanced telehealth technology to facilitate virtual appointments, ensuring seamless communication between you and your clients.

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients' mental and emotional health to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help patients understand their trauma and build effective coping strategies tailored to their individual circumstances.
• Monitor patient progress through regular check-ins and appropriately modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, creating a safe space for patients to discuss their experiences and emotions without judgment.
• Educate both patients and staff on effective stress and trauma management techniques, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues.
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to connect patients with additional resources and support systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development by completing required continuing education courses to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to accidents, abuse, and other significant life-altering events. Your expertise will guide these patients through their recovery journey, addressing various mental health concerns such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. You will play a critical role in helping them regain control over their lives and foster resilience as they navigate their healing process.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, specifically working with trauma patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, enabling effective communication and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with patients.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to manage patient documentation and care coordination.
• Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed care practices is a plus, as it aligns with our clinic's patient-centered approach.
