THE ROLE:

As a Junior Salesforce Consultant at TruSummit Solutions, you will work alongside experienced consultants, architects, and client stakeholders to design and deliver Salesforce solutions that solve real business challenges.

This role is ideal for someone early in their Salesforce career who is eager to expand their functional, technical, and client-facing skills. You are curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions to understand how a business operates and where Salesforce can make it better.

You will support projects throughout the implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, documentation, training, and deployment. As you grow, you'll take on greater ownership of client conversations, workstreams, and solution recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and help translate business needs into clear Salesforce requirements and user stories.
  • Support the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Salesforce solutions under the guidance of senior consultants and solution architects.
  • Configure Salesforce using declarative tools, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Assist with documenting business processes, requirements, solution designs, application configurations, and user guides.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test-case development, issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve and automate client business processes using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal project teams to communicate progress, clarify requirements, and resolve issues.
  • Participate in client demonstrations and gradually take ownership of presenting completed functionality.
  • Support end-user training, adoption, and post-implementation activities.
  • Develop an understanding of how Salesforce integrates with other applications and fits within a client's broader technology ecosystem.
  • Follow established Agile, Scrum, and other project delivery practices.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, platform capabilities, and best practices.
  • Actively seek feedback, mentorship, and opportunities to grow functional and technical Salesforce expertise.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of professional experience working with Salesforce, CRM technology, business systems, consulting, business analysis, or a related area.
  • Foundational understanding of the Salesforce platform and its core capabilities.
  • Experience or exposure to Salesforce configuration and declarative automation.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn from senior team members.
  • Interest in learning new industries, technologies, and Salesforce products.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar delivery methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • This role is a Remote/Telecommute position with the ability to travel up to 10–20%, as needed.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or another Salesforce credential.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, reports, dashboards, data management, or security configuration.
  • Exposure to consulting or client-facing project environments.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, test scripts, or functional documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Interest in developing technical Salesforce skills, including integrations, APIs, or custom development.
  • Additional Salesforce Trailhead learning, certifications, or demonstrated commitment to growing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
