Bend Psychosocial Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a consistent work schedule from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM. Although the schedule primarily remains fixed, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs and appointments. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, employing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective and personalized interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and confidential records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding client privacy.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer counselors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews regularly to improve service delivery and therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and support for patients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions and facilitating access to community resources.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to ensure that counseling approaches remain current and effective.

Our practice primarily serves diverse populations within the Hillsboro area, focusing on individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds, each bringing unique stories and needs to the therapeutic setting. This enriching clientele offers a dynamic environment for growth and specialization.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and an ability to customize therapeutic approaches based on the unique requirements of each client.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with critical thinking abilities, promoting effective decision-making in clinical situations.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred, with a background in trauma-informed care being a significant plus.
