This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to impact the mental health landscape from the comfort of your home while providing essential care to clients across Clearwater, Florida, and beyond.

Work Environment

This remote position provides a flexible work environment, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering exceptional telehealth services. At Wellpower, you will utilize innovative technology to connect with clients in a virtual setting, which allows for a diverse range of therapeutic services without geographical constraints. Our operational hours run from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring you can tailor your schedule to meet your needs as well as those of your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy strategies based on client needs, diagnoses, and treatment goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, group, and family sessions.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused interventions.
  • Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and enhance holistic client care.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wellpower, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups facing a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus on accessibility through telehealth means that you will connect with clients in both urban and rural settings, providing much-needed mental health support where it is most crucial.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) within the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards prevalent in mental health counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
  • Experience utilizing digital therapeutic tools and interventions in a telehealth format.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and licensure. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus, guaranteed annual increases, and various bonus opportunities. Other benefits include:
