We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Watertown Regional Counseling Center, located in Richmond, California. This remote position allows for a flexible work schedule, giving you the autonomy to manage your caseload while ensuring a sustainable work-life balance. You will be providing therapy in an outpatient office setting, which allows for a dynamic interaction with clients. Your work hours can be tailored to fit your schedule, with a minimum requirement of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), primarily allowing for evening sessions that accommodate our clients.

As an LMFT at our center, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and group therapy in our outpatient center or virtually, focusing on areas including behavioral issues, emotional distress, and relationship challenges.
• Facilitate anger management sessions, teaching coping and social skills that can contribute to reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.
• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Document all client interactions thoroughly, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, while adhering to required deadlines.
• Engage in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery.

Your role will involve working with a diverse client spectrum, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. You will specifically focus on clients dealing with behavioral issues, relationship dynamics, and emotional disturbances. Your efforts will aim to promote healthier decision-making skills among youths and support families in navigating in-home behavioral challenges effectively.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license with a proven track record in providing therapeutic services.
• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle for necessary travel.
• All candidates are required to undergo a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure client safety.

We value candidates who demonstrate:

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in providing positive behavior support and individual/family therapy.
• Experience working with diverse populations in various clinical settings.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and available caseload. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
