Job description

Director of Professional Marketing
Department: Marketing
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Remote USA - OFW
Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 / year
Description
At In Tandem, we build technology that helps families manage everyday routines and navigate life's biggest transitions. Through our four brands-OurFamilyWizard, Cozi, FamilyWall, and Custody Navigator-we help families stay organized, communicate well, and foster healthy childhoods.
We believe technology should strengthen relationships and make daily coordination less complicated. Everything we create is designed to lighten the mental load, reduce conflict, and support families through big and small moments.
If you want your work to make a real difference in the daily lives of parents and kids, In Tandem is the place where your impact will truly matter.
Many families don't find OurFamilyWizard on their own - family law attorneys, mediators, parenting coordinators, and judges recommend it to the families they work with every day. That professional recommendation is one of the most powerful growth engines we have, and we're going all in on building it.
As our Director of Professional Marketing you'll own a B2B2C motion end-to-end: the strategy, programs, and systems that earn trust with family law professionals so they recommend OurFamilyWizard to the families they serve. You'll be the connective tissue between Marketing, our field-facing Family Law relationship team, Sales, and Product, turning a historically word-of-mouth channel into a measurable, scalable pipeline. Your work will have a direct line to qualified professional relationships, court and firm adoption, and ultimately the families who join because someone they trusted sent them our way.
What you will accomplish:
  • Drive the professional marketing strategy and funnel-define how we reach, nurture, and activate family law professionals (attorneys, mediators, parenting coordinators, custody evaluators, and the courts) as recommenders, build that funnel as a measurable system, and partner with Sales on shared touchpoints.
  • Build demand and nurture programs that create advocates-create the content and run the programs (content, email nurture, webinars, CLE-eligible education, conferences, and events) that build credibility and keep OurFamilyWizard top-of-mind at the moment professionals are advising families.
  • Partner with sales to drive results - partner with our Professional Liaisons to amplify their online presences, driving awareness, credibility, and relevance for the OFW brand within the professional community.
  • Instrument, measure, and optimize-stand up the tracking and attribution to connect professional engagement to family sign-ups and subscriptions, partnering with Data and RevOps to close known attribution gaps; run experiments and report against clear pipeline and adoption targets.
  • Own the professional marketing budget-manage professional marketing spend with a clear view of return, and make the case for where we invest to scale the channel (CRM platform, event materials, sponsorships, ad spend)
  • Align cross-functionally-keep messaging, targeting, and hand-offs tight across Sales, Product, and Marketing, and bring the voice of the family law professional into the room.

Who you are:
  • You're a builder. You've stood up a B2B2C marketing motion from the ground up and you're energized by ambiguity and happy to create the marketing materials yourself.
  • You're commercially rigorous. You think in funnels, pipeline, and ROI, and you're comfortable defending where you invest and what it returned.
  • You're a credible communicator. You can speak to attorneys, mediators, and judicial professionals with the professionalism and nuance that audience demands-and translate their world back to your internal teams.
  • You're systems-minded and AI-forward. You use modern tooling and automation as a real part of how you work, and you look for ways to make a small team punch above its weight.
  • You're mission-driven. You care about families navigating separation, and you understand that a trusted recommendation at the right moment changes outcomes for kids.

What you bring:
  • 8+ years in B2B, B2B2C, partner/channel, or demand-generation marketing, including 2-3 years leading programs or a channel end-to-end, with direct accountability for a funnel and its number.
  • Demonstrated success building marketing programs that influence a professional or partner audience to drive downstream customer acquisition.
  • Strong analytical foundation-comfortable with attribution, funnel metrics, and turning data into where-to-invest decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern marketing/GTM stack (CRM and marketing automation such as HubSpot, plus analytics tooling) and with AI-assisted workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with credibility in front of senior and professional audiences.
  • Experience marketing to legal, healthcare, financial, or other regulated professional communities strongly preferred.
  • Bonus: familiarity with the family law ecosystem, legal tech / SaaS, CLE or professional-education program design, or event/field marketing at scale.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with no direct reports. You'll build the motion yourself and make the case for investment as the channel proves out.
