Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Registered Nurse Triage - Centralized Triage

  • Location: 4201 Winfield Rd, Warrenville

  • Full time: 36 hours:

  • M-F 7am - 6:30pm options. Shifts are typically four, 9- hour shifts, but can be flexible). Occasional Saturdays 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (5-6 a year)

  • No travel

What you will do:

The RN Telephone Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse and responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. Continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. Actively manage patients' immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.

NOTE: MUST LIVE IN ILLINOIS AS THIS ROLE IS ON-SITE. and after a minimum of one year employment, RN's in this role may have the opportunity to work from home/remoteif all quality and productivity metricsare met and maintained.

What you will need:

  • Current Illinois RN licensure

  • Operational knowledge of physician practice.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Possesses professional telephone etiquette skills.

  • Must be a team player.

  • Must be a self-starter, able to handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations.

  • Must possess excellent time management skills.

  • Must possess basic keyboard, computer and internet skills.

  • 35 WPM typing proficiency.

  • Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.
