• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions through telehealth, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, ensuring that documentation standards are adhered to and that notes are completed promptly.
• Monitor client behavior, promptly reporting any significant changes or crises to the appropriate members of the treatment team.
• Advocate for clients, ensuring that they receive the necessary resources and support to pursue their mental health goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

The Mental Health Therapist at Acuity will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Understanding the unique cultural contexts and experiences of our clients is essential to providing effective support. You will help create a safe therapeutic environment that fosters trust, resilience, and recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Current and independent licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills to develop and execute therapeutic interventions and treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective and empathetic communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in digital platforms and electronic health record systems to document sessions and manage client information efficiently.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting or with remote client engagement is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention techniques and managing high-risk situations.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and utilizing a collaborative approach to client care.
