Summary
You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Installation Support Directorate (ISD), Public Works Division (PWD) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Help
  • You will evaluate completed work and secure compliance with environmental laws and programs through permitting, self-assessments, audits, inspections, investigations and corrective actions.
  • You will review proposed actions and ensure that environmental effects are considered in planning and decision making; implement legislative proposals, regulations, standards, policies and operating guidance.
  • You will evaluate environmental quality, standard violations, and the development of pollution control strategies to attain compliance with those standards.
  • You will recommend methods for bringing sources of pollution into compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
  • You will review tradesmen certifications to make sure they are current.

    and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You must possess a current valid United States driver's license.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating and verifying that work is accomplished in accordance with environmental compliance regulations and laws AND identifying, analyzing, making recommendations to resolve conventional environmental compliance problems.
