As an LICSW with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will have a range of key responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and psychosocial evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy, ensuring that care provided is tailored to the unique emotional challenges faced by patients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while minimizing paperwork to enhance focus on patient care.
• Collaborating proactively with a multidisciplined team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care approaches.
• Providing support and education to patients and families about the hospice care process, promoting understanding and easing concerns during this sensitive time.
• Staying informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and hospice care to incorporate best practices into your therapeutic approaches.

Your work will center on a diverse group of hospice patients, many of whom may be experiencing terminal illnesses or end-of-life transitions. You will support patients facing complex emotional and psychological challenges, aiming to enhance their quality of life and provide comfort during this pivotal time. Building therapeutic relationships with patients and their families will be paramount, as you guide them through their experiences and help them navigate grief and loss.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts.
• A strong foundation in solution-based therapeutic practices and interventions tailored to hospice care.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster trustful relationships quickly.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress.

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in clinical social work, particularly within the contexts of hospice, palliative care, or similar settings. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and grief counseling will be considered a strong asset.
