Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to inform appropriate treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing various methodologies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, nurturing a safe and supportive environment that encourages clients to share and explore their challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment aligned with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay updated on emerging research and best practices in mental health, actively participating in professional development opportunities such as workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our services cater to clients from diverse backgrounds, facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with individuals, couples, and families, providing tailored support to enhance their emotional and psychological well-being. Your role will also involve educating clients about coping strategies and actionable tools that empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of experience delivering counseling services, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards in the counseling profession.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for establishing rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record management and relevant counseling software.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
