• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with each patient, considering their specific goals, needs, and cultural contexts.
• Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients in acute distress receive seamless care.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, following clinic policies and state regulations.
• Conduct psychoeducation sessions for patients and their families to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and empower them with strategies to manage challenges effectively.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate therapy outcomes regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to meet the changing needs of patients.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in mental health treatment, incorporating this knowledge into clinical practice.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information at all times.

This role directly serves individuals in a detox center, many of whom are experiencing mental health challenges related to substance use. As an LCSW, you will work with a diverse demographic, including clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. • A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds effectively.

• Experience in addiction treatment and familiarity with detox processes are highly desirable.

• Previous experience with telehealth or remote service delivery would be beneficial.
