This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while fostering flexibility in their work-life balance. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, documenting all relevant case details from initial assessment through completion of treatment.
• Design individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and client needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, as well as structured group therapy discussions, fostering a supportive environment for open communication.
• Monitor and track client progress against treatment goals, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary and communicating updates to clients to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to coordinate client care and manage referrals effectively.
• Provide follow-up for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care through collaborative efforts with other healthcare practitioners.
• Identify potential risk factors and challenges that could hinder recovery, and work proactively to develop effective strategies to mitigate these issues.
• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing them with resources and guidance to assist their loved ones effectively.

The counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The role emphasizes a holistic approach, recognizing the interplay between mental and physical health, as well as the need for sensitivity to addiction disorders and their impact on clients' lives.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Successful completion and passing score on national exams including NCE and/or NCMHCE.
• Proven experience as a mental health counselor demonstrating clinical proficiency.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
• In-depth understanding of the implications of physical and emotional health conditions and experience managing addiction disorders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills and empathy.

• Experience with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its effects on treatment outcomes.
• History of successful integration with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.

The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, alongside a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
