• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to inform treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their unique goals and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various modalities—individual, couples, families, and groups—utilizing approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Provide crisis intervention services and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for clients in acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families to empower them in managing their mental health conditions effectively.
• Conduct regular outcome assessments to gauge the effectiveness of treatments and refine service delivery as needed.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of current research and best practices in mental health.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

Your primary focus will be individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, ensuring that culturally sensitive practice is at the forefront of our therapeutic approach. You will play a vital role in establishing rapport and providing compassionate care to clients from various backgrounds.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in New York State.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for connecting with diverse patient populations.

In addition to the qualifications listed, ideally, you will also have a minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience, with a focus on trauma-informed care and various therapeutic modalities.
