As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Bright Health, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, such as:

• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, tailoring care plans as needed to reflect patient progress and changes in their condition.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate ongoing care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
• Providing referrals to community resources, treatment programs, and support networks, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of clients.
• Organizing and prioritizing daily caseloads based on an in-depth evaluation of new and current patient needs.
• Educationally guiding patients and caregivers through psychosocial assessments and interventions, ensuring they receive critical support during crises and bereavement.
• Advocating for patient needs within care teams and when interacting with external agencies to ensure effective communication and optimal outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
