Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Mental Health Counselors to join Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center. This remote telehealth position allows you to provide critical mental health services from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on the lives of our clients. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding individuals towards recovery and improved emotional well-being, predominantly focusing on those dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work from anywhere while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. The work schedule primarily runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to meet patient needs. Our telehealth setup ensures that you can manage your caseload efficiently while minimizing paperwork so you can focus on what matters mostโ€”your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s unique situation.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other research-supported modalities to facilitate client progress.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical records that comply with HIPAA and other relevant regulations to safeguard client confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Engage in case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical skillsets and improve treatment offerings.
  • Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, treatment options, and community resources, fostering a supportive network.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the mental health field and incorporate innovative practices into your work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling services cater specifically to adults and adolescents experiencing diverse mental health challenges. Clients often struggle with trauma-related issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health conditions. Your role will be to assist them in navigating their unique journeys toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is required.
  • Proficiency in using solution-focused therapy techniques tailored to individual client needs to promote effective treatment outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to navigate complex patient scenarios effectively.
