Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans that address each client’s unique challenges.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to best fit individual patient needs.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding client information.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to deliver holistic care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer reviews, fostering an environment of continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families, guiding them on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and local community resources.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health to enrich your practice and enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Rising Ground's clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals of varying ages and backgrounds who experience mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your role will involve sensitivity and adaptability to meet the varied needs of our population, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions; ability to customize therapeutic approaches for diverse individual needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective client engagement.
• Demonstration of critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address complex cases.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the behavioral health field.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and the technological platforms for remote counseling.
• Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
