In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient, shaping individualized treatment plans based on their specific mental health challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the diverse needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation in compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure the best outcomes.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings that emphasize continuous learning and improvement in service delivery.

To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.
• A valid LICSW license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in solution-based and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
