- Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and address their multifaceted needs.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that progress notes and treatment plans are up-to-date and accessible for case reviews.
- Engage in ongoing supervision with a licensed clinical supervisor to refine your therapeutic skills and reinforce best practices in clinical social work.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions, ensuring compliance with state and national regulations governing social work practice.
Your role will primarily involve working with individuals in early recovery from substance use disorders in a detox setting. This patient population requires a nuanced understanding of the psychological and emotional challenges associated with addiction and recovery. Your therapeutic interventions will aim to provide stabilization and prepare clients for continued care post-detox to support a successful transition into rehabilitation.
Qualifications- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in clinical social work, particularly within substance use or mental health settings.
- Robust understanding of mental health diagnoses, evidenced by a history of effective treatment strategies for diverse populations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and compassionately engage with clients.
- Strong organizational skills, enabling efficient management of client caseloads and comprehensive documentation.
- Previous experience working in remote settings, familiar with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
