• Conduct thorough patient assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses mental health conditions using established clinical criteria, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that recognize cultural diversity and meet the particular needs of various patient populations, ensuring that patient goals and desired outcomes are addressed.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions while documenting all aspects of care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients and their families, working together to create a comprehensive care plan that includes therapy goals and supportive resources.
• Facilitate patient referrals to other providers if needed, serving as a liaison among patients, their families, and multiple healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide education and mentoring to interns, students, and other healthcare providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Participate in peer review, clinical collaboration, and chart audits under the guidance of clinical supervisors to strengthen team practices and patient care methodologies.

This role primarily focuses on working with patients and families affected by cancer. You will utilize your clinical skills to address the psychological impacts of cancer diagnoses, providing tailored support that fosters emotional and mental well-being. Your approach will be both empathetic and practical, aiming to equip patients with coping strategies and resources that facilitate recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience providing therapeutic support for individuals and families, especially within oncology or related health fields, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based practices in clinical social work and mental health.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth services, documentation, and patient management.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
