Job description

Pay Range:

$52,395.20 - $92,164.80 RESPONSIBILITIES


Position Summary: Provides disease specific management, a working knowledge of oncology principles, the ability to manage chemotherapy and the side effects, and can monitor and address symptoms. Works with patients and families throughout the course of treatment and beyond to provide an understanding of their disease, their treatment plans, and address patient clinical and psychosocial issues as required. Symptom management calls are made proactively to anticipate needs of patients undergoing treatment and to manage side effects of disease and/or treatment. RN Care coordinator documents assessment and interventions in real time in the electronic medical record. Will collaborate with the oncologist and clinic staff to assist in managing and coordinating patient care. The RN Care Coordinator will support the mission of the Company and the Care Coordination department.
 


QUALIFICATIONS


1. Education: A graduate of an accredited RN Nursing program required.
2. Previous Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of oncology experience required. Minimum of 5 years of overall nursing experience required.
3. Office experience: Prior experience with customer service and professional phone etiquette required.
4. Core Capabilities: Attention to detail, excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently in a work from home environment, good communication skills, data entry, knowledge of Excel, excellent computer skills while simultaneously functioning in multiple applications.
5. Certifications/Licenses: Active RN license in state of employment, OCN preferred. Current CPR certification required.
6. Travel: To Fort Myers area for yearly meeting
7. Standard Workdays/Hours: M-F commonly 8:00am – 5:00pm. Position will be covering our Hawaii clinics and will need to work Hawaii business hours that may vary based on business need.
