As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Bliss Care, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ unique mental health challenges effectively.
• Develop strategic and personalized treatment plans that promote client healing and growth, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual therapy sessions through secure teletherapy platforms for clients who prefer virtual interactions or face geographical or physical accessibility challenges.
• Set measurable therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitor their progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to enhance outcomes.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of treatment plans, session notes, and client progress in accordance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in regular professional development and training that enhances clinical skills and knowledge of new therapies and practices.

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse array of clients, including those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. By employing a person-centered approach, you will contribute to transforming lives and promoting mental wellness within our Springfield community and beyond.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A current and valid license from the state of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A relevant Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

While specific experience levels may vary, candidates with prior experience in outpatient therapy settings or specialized training in trauma, anxiety disorders, and family therapy will be highly regarded. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and documentation software is advantageous.
