As part of a multidisciplinary team operating within a detox center, the social worker will engage closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients entering the detox center, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to ensure a thorough understanding of each client’s needs.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, needs, and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that care is both personalized and effective.

• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), in individual, couple, family, and group settings to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, while working alongside other healthcare professionals to guarantee continuity of care and integrated support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with strategies and knowledge to effectively manage mental health conditions and make informed decisions.

• Conduct regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments tailored to the evolving needs of the clients.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health through continuous professional development, ensuring the highest standard of clinical practice.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times, reflecting Unity Care Services’ commitment to integrity and respect.

The primary focus of your work will be with clients at a detox center who are facing challenges related to substance use and mental health issues. This population often requires specialized attention to navigate their recovery journey, which can involve trauma, emotional distress, and complex psychological needs. Your role will directly contribute to their healing and progress.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Proficiency in both independent work and collaborative team environments, illustrating your adaptability and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse array of clients.

• Prior experience in a detox center or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred.

• A strong background in trauma-informed care and culturally competent therapeutic practices is a plus.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document clinical interactions efficiently.

• The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience, education, and skill level.
