Job Overview

We're looking for a Procurement Specialist Engineered Items to support our Test Equipment Center of Excellence by managing internal demand deliveries and direct shipment (Drop Ship) orders to external customers. This role is pivotal to ensuring on-time, cost-effective procurement and supplier performance for high-value, engineered components. The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise, supplier management experience, and the ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced, regulated industry.

What You'll Do

  • Procurement Execution:
    Oversee procurement activities for both internal production needs and customer-facing drop ship orders across multiple customers.
  • Supplier & Contract Management:
    Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency. Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to obligations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Coordinate with teams across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Programs to resolve complex supply chain issues and support program success.
  • Quoting & Negotiations:
    Conduct quoting, negotiation prep, and cost analysis to ensure competitive and reliable supply chain solutions.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Address supplier performance challenges, including missed deliveries and shortages, by expediting and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to avoid disruptions, including managing supplier transitions through the Supplier Risk Indicator (SRI) process.
  • Delivery Assurance:
    Track and expedite order fulfillment to ensure products are delivered on time, meet required specifications, and support program schedules.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or related fields.
