This role operates fully in a remote telehealth setting, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while contributing to meaningful mental health care. Our operation utilizes a user-friendly telehealth platform that facilitates seamless communication with clients and coordination with other healthcare professionals. • Coordinate and document transitions of hospital and inpatient services when necessary, working closely with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care during discharges.
• Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques effectively to provide support during critical situations, particularly while serving as the Clinician of the Day.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans for clients, ensuring that documentation is completed on the same day for individuals at increased risk of crisis service engagement.
• File critical incident reports within 24 hours when required, maintaining an up-to-date record of significant client interactions.
• Provide after-hours support through an alternating phone rotation to assist in coordination of care.
• Engage proactively with participants to minimize the need for crisis services through effective therapeutic intervention.
• Maintain and manage crisis alerts to ensure prompt communication with county crisis services regarding client needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.

You will work with individuals from different backgrounds, including but not limited to those facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other complex mental health issues. Your expertise will empower these individuals to gain access to necessary resources, fostering a sense of hope and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Must hold an independent license to practice in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically, demonstrating active listening skills in all interactions.
• Strong analytical skills to assess situations and develop appropriate interventions.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary, managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality service delivery.

• Experience working with clients in crisis situations, demonstrating an ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy methodologies.
• Previous involvement in community resource advocacy and stabilization efforts.
• Demonstrated passion for empowering clients towards self-sufficiency and better mental health outcomes.
