Licensed Professional Counselor | Connecticut Teletherapy Career Opportunity

Job Summary

A great telehealth counselor brings more than clinical knowledge to the screen. In this role, you will provide steady, professional support to clients across Connecticut through virtual therapy sessions. You will help clients sort through mental health concerns, identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and stay connected to their treatment goals.

This position gives you the space to focus on counseling while working within a structured remote care model. You will complete assessments, maintain clinical notes, update care plans, and provide ongoing therapy through a secure platform.

Location: Connecticut
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Lead virtual therapy sessions with clients throughout Connecticut
  • Complete clinical intakes and review presenting concerns
  • Support clients with stress, mood concerns, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and daily life challenges
  • Build treatment plans that support steady progress
  • Document client care clearly in the electronic health record
  • Maintain privacy, professionalism, and ethical standards in all client interactions
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment focus when clinically needed
  • Follow established procedures for risk assessment and client safety

Requirements

  • Active LPC license in Connecticut
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • Experience in outpatient therapy, telehealth counseling, private practice, or a similar setting
  • Confident using video platforms and electronic documentation systems
  • Strong ability to manage client sessions, notes, and follow-up tasks
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and professional counseling ethics
  • Able to provide care from a private and reliable remote workspace
