Job Description

The Product Management Specialist will be a detail oriented and self-driven professional who will be responsible for system set up and document creation, product maintenance and editing, compliance review and submission, and administrative case research and review. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to effectively work with others across the organization including Sales, Marketing, IT, Claims and Customer Care, as well as the Crum and Forster Product, Underwriting, Legal, and Compliance teams.ย  They will collaborate on projects to design, develop, test, and launch products. The position reports to the Product Management Director.

What you will do:

  • Accurate and timely set up of new products using underwriter and account guidelines
  • Create, revise, and review plan documents and other related policy forms
  • Use structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root cause and effective corrective counter measures
  • Support complete product and document lifecycle from set-up, through testing, and to delivery
  • Work with the QA and Development team on product testing, bug reporting, and change requests
  • Follow written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities
  • Vertical lead champion who represents the department and can accurately communicate projects and updates to the broader group and business leadsย 
  • Product compliance review of marketing and websites
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of current state laws and regulatory environments for assigned states
  • Formulate responses to member inquiries elevated by Customer Service and Claims teams
  • Continuously updates product and job knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

  • Understanding of product related compliance, regulatory, and risk requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
