Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC Remote Therapy Job in Connecticut
Job Summary
If you are an LPC who wants a remote therapy position with structure, stability, and a clear focus on client care, this role may be a great match. You will provide virtual counseling services to clients across Connecticut, helping them address mental health concerns, build healthier coping tools, and move through difficult seasons with professional support.
Your day-to-day work will include meeting with clients online, completing clinical notes, reviewing treatment goals, and helping clients stay engaged in their care. This is a client-facing telehealth role designed for a counselor who can work independently while staying organized and responsive.
Location: Connecticut
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients virtually for scheduled counseling sessions
  • Provide therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and adjustment challenges
  • Gather clinical history and complete new client evaluations
  • Develop treatment goals that reflect each client's needs and progress
  • Update records, notes, and treatment plans within required timelines
  • Maintain a professional and confidential online therapy environment
  • Use clinical judgment when assessing safety, risk, or need for additional support

Requirements
  • Current Connecticut LPC license in good standing
  • Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related behavioral health field
  • Previous clinical experience in counseling, telehealth, private practice, community mental health, or outpatient care
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, ethics, and professional counseling standards
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing a steady caseload
