About the Role
The Business Analyst III partners with business and technology teams to deliver IT solutions that meet cost, quality, and strategic goals. This role focuses on understanding current processes, analyzing data, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support complex systems and workflows. You will play a key role in improving how teams work and how solutions are designed and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into user stories, functional specifications, and wireframes
  • Develop system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies
  • Document data-driven workflows, including inputs, calculation logic, assumptions, exceptions, and outputs
  • Support validation of system outputs by comparing results against source data, documented rules, and expected outcomes
  • Partner with UI/UX specialists to create detailed wireframes for complex workflows and user journeys
  • Create clear technical and functional user documentation
  • Analyze existing systems to identify and document process improvements and best practices
  • Collaborate with remote development teams, internal IT, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or experience required
  • Experience working as an IT business analyst on complex or large-scale projects
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, including understanding and validating formulas and rule-based calculations
  • Experience working with structured data, including documenting data inputs and outputs and identifying data quality issues
  • Knowledge of agile development environments and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills across different levels of an organization
  • Experience creating process documentation and user-facing materials
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies, platforms, and tools

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
