Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' mental health status, identifying their strengths, needs, and potential challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, empowering them to make informed choices.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions in a supportive online environment, utilizing strategies that engage clients and foster open dialogue.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in partnership with clients and the multidisciplinary treatment team, incorporating patient goals and preferences into care strategies.
  • Advocate for patients within the complex mental health system, assisting them in navigating available resources and ensuring their rights and needs are respected.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to support patients throughout their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
