About the Team
It's an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're looking for a Revenue Analyst to support revenue accounting operations by analyzing financial and transactional data, ensuring data accuracy, assisting with revenue reporting, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of data management principles, and an interest in finance and accounting processes. Also to support our Revenue Accounting Data Team's daily and monthly close operations while keeping pace within one of the fastest growing marketplace companies.
About the Role
Our Revenue Data team is seeking a fully independent contributor who delivers reliable, high-quality data insights and supports revenue-driving decisions. They own defined problem areas, partner effectively with stakeholders, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. You will report into the Revenue Data Manager on our Accounting team within the Finance organization.

  • Own revenue account reconciliations, accounting analyses, and data validation activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
  • Collect, analyze, and reconcile revenue data across accounting systems, ERP platforms, and operational databases, proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies, anomalies, and reporting issues.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including revenue reporting, reconciliations, and preparation of audit-ready documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, Python-based analyses, reports, and data extracts to investigate revenue trends, improve reporting accuracy, and deliver actionable business insights.
  • Partner with Revenue Accounting, Finance, Business Operations, Product, and IT stakeholders to support revenue-related initiatives, new product launches, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements by documenting business rules, automating manual reporting activities, enhancing data workflows, and strengthening data quality controls.

  • You have experience working with data tools such as NetSuite, dbt, or Fivetran to build reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
