Position Overview

Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who is ready to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals confronting mental health challenges, as well as those affected by addiction and trauma. Working closely with clients, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive assessments, effective treatment planning, and delivering vital resources to promote overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans, which may include crisis intervention strategies and positive behavior support plans.
  • Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness timely and accurately, adhering to all regulatory standards.
  • Administer evidence-based screening tools and techniques recommended by the clinical team to identify mental health needs and treatment paths.
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans that foster successful outcomes.
  • Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that all practices meet state and federal guidelines.
  • Serve as a vital liaison between patients, families, service systems, state agencies, and community organizations to promote continuity of care and support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to identify new partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Engage in professional development activities such as attending conferences, workshops, and meetings relevant to social work and behavioral health.
  • Promote the mission and values of Retreat within the community and among colleagues, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the ongoing success of the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults experiencing a variety of mental health and substance use challenges, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma-related disorders. This role requires understanding the unique strengths and needs of each patient, tailoring interventions that empower them towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
  • A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience in a relevant setting.
  • Current and valid LCSW license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills, with the ability to integrate evidence-based practices into treatment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience specifically in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or crisis intervention will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and behavioral screening tools is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and engage effectively with diverse populations.
