Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health diagnostic assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate treatment plans.
• Create, implement, and review treatment plans, ensuring regular documentation is maintained, including updates on diagnoses and therapeutic interventions.
• Assess the effectiveness of therapeutic strategies regularly, making adaptations as necessary to meet client goals effectively.
• Offer guidance, support, and strategies to empower clients in addressing challenges related to mental health, relationships, and cultural identity.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients and to advance our community's mental health initiatives.
• Utilize creativity and innovative therapeutic methods to facilitate client engagement and foster meaningful progress toward their goals.
• Participate in supervision and professional development sessions to enhance skills, cultural competence, and therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues. Your expertise will support clients dealing with relationship difficulties, trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity-related challenges. The remote setting allows for a broader reach, engaging clients from diverse backgrounds across Hanover, Pennsylvania, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in counseling, with a focus on individual and family therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, crucial for effective client engagement and collaboration with colleagues.
