• Carry out initial mental health assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating client strengths and evidence-based strategies.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and therapy sessions, as well as facilitate group therapy sessions that cater to specific issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment updates, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive care solutions.
• Uphold established professional and ethical guidelines in all interactions and maintain a client-focused approach.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and external seminars to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

You will primarily serve an outpatient client base in Memphis, Tennessee, which includes a variety of demographics. Your role will involve working with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, potentially including children, families, and those coping with substance use issues or trauma. This enriching experience will allow you to apply your skills to address a wide range of psychological challenges.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic interventions and client management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans.

• Experience with specific client populations (e.g., children, adolescents, families, trauma survivors) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or motivational interviewing.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health awareness.

Questa Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
