Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and work-life balance. Counselors will provide support from an outpatient office setting, where they will engage directly with clients through teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Facilitate regular communication among supervisors, family members, and other stakeholders regarding clients' progress and needs.
• Provide supervisors with a schedule outlining appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities to ensure effective case management.
• Coordinate and execute home visits, ensuring adherence to quality standards through close observation and data analysis.
• Ensure effective implementation of therapy plans and adjust interventions as required based on patient feedback and outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on holistic approaches to client care.
• Document patients' progress with monthly and quarterly notes to maintain accurate records and facilitate continuity of care.
• Arrange and lead training sessions to equip staff with the skills necessary for effective plan implementation and documentation.
• Conduct follow-up interviews and observations to provide ongoing support tailored to each individual's evolving needs.
• Serve as a liaison between Rethink Mental Healthcare and the broader mental health community, fostering partnerships that enhance service delivery.
• Contribute to the development of training materials that improve counseling practices and therapeutic programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role focuses on working with a varied demographic, including adults and youth, who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges. From anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use, our counselors employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to address complex mental health issues effectively. Each counselor plays a crucial role in fostering resilience and empowerment among clients, contributing to improved overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic context.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies to track patient progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting, showcasing the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
