Job Overview:

The Regional Retail Training Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing Hisenses presence within Best Buy stores by guiding and supporting the Best Buy employees funded by Hisense. This is leadership without a badge of authority: the specialists you develop dont report to you, so your influence, coaching, and credibility are what turn training into product knowledge, product knowledge into better customer conversations, and better conversations into Hisense TV and soundbar sales.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Team development: Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to Hisense-funded Best Buy teams to optimize sales of Hisense TVs and soundbars.
  • Indirect leadership: Influence without direct authority aligning specialists and store teams with Hisenses sales strategies, priorities, and standards.
  • Store visits: Conduct regular store visits across your region to assess performance, deliver coaching, influence product placement and merchandising compliance, and implement development plans.
  • Performance management: Monitor KPIs for product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement; track and report on team progress, training effectiveness, and sales outcomes.
  • Partner collaboration: Collaborate with Best Buy store and market management and Hisense internal teams to resolve issues and identify opportunities; serve as the voice of the specialist back to Hisense leadership.
  • Regional planning: Develop and execute regional action plans to boost product visibility, display compliance, and sales performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, program requirements, and retail best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • College degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in vendor-funded retail programs or partnerships.
  • Knowledge of TV and audio product categories.
  • Demonstrated success in team development and performance improvement.
