Job Overview:

  • Location: Remote (Must reside in Texas; Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area highly preferred)

The Opportunity:

GCT Re Construction, LLC is seeking a highly qualified, hands-on Project Manager based in Texas to oversee our retail commercial construction projects. This is a remote role, but proximity to the DFW metroplex is preferred for regional site visits. We are looking for a top-tier professional to take full ownership of project life cycles from buyout through closeout. For an exceptionally qualified candidate who demonstrates mastery of these responsibilities, a Senior Project Manager title and elevated compensation package will be considered.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Project Setup, Buying Out & Contracting
  • Execute comprehensive project buyouts, leveraging strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing with subcontractors.
  • Draft and review contracts with extreme detail, ensuring contractual scopes are highly accurate.
  • Eliminate overall project scope gaps through proactive planning and rigorous pre-construction review.
  • Order and coordinate long-lead materials to protect the project timeline.
  • Manage self-performed work teams to guarantee quality control and budget adherence.
  • Execution, Schedule & Field Collaboration
  • Track and enforce project schedules to meet strict retail grand opening deadlines.
  • Work hand-in-hand with field Superintendents to quickly resolve daily jobsite obstacles.
  • Conduct regular site visits within Texas to audit progress, safety, and quality.
  • Financial, Client & Turn Over Administration
  • Process change orders accurately through both subcontractors and project owners.
  • Maintain project budgets and oversee cost tracking within Procore.
  • Produce regular updates for owners and clients regarding schedule milestones and cost forecasting.
  • Manage the turn over and closeout process, ensuring the collection of all lien waivers, warranties, and closeout documents


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience, with a heavy and proven track record in retail build-outs, tenant improvements, or restaurant rollouts.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Advanced negotiation skills with a sharp eye for spotting and eliminating scope gaps in subcontractor contracts.
  • Software: Proven expertise using Procore is a primary requirement for this role.
  • Location: Must be a current resident of Texas. Preference given to candidates in the Greater DFW area.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel to Texas-based jobsites for regular field inspections and superintendent alignment.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active OSHA, Fall Protection, or equipment operator certifications.
