Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), with a focus on helping clients cultivate resilience and emotional well-being.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of client information.
• Engage in collaborative practice with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise and insights to enhance the holistic care experience for our clients.
• Facilitate regular case consultations and peer review meetings to ensure the highest quality of care and adherence to best practices.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and available community resources, fostering empowerment and resilience.
• Continuously stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to offer the most effective interventions to your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with various mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. Your expertise will help these individuals navigate their challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful progress towards mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required for applicants seeking to provide counseling services.
• An active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of New York is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
