Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of each student to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their emotional and psychological needs.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions that promote healing and well-being in students, collaborating with educators and staff to provide integrated support.
• Maintaining precise and confidential clinical records in accordance with legal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring comprehensive documentation of patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a varied patient population, comprised mainly of adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will employ solution-focused therapies, adapting your approach based on the individual circumstances and needs of each student. This role is crucial in helping these young individuals achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Have a minimum of three years of clinical experience with a specialization in psychotherapy and working with children or adolescents.
• Demonstrate proficiency in implementing solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities to engage effectively with students and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
