Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of each patient, including their emotional and psychological backgrounds.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with industry standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and enhancing care quality.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other members of the treatment team to ensure integrated approaches to patient care, actively participating in case discussions and progression meetings.
• Provide continuous education and support to patients and their families, offering resources and guidance on mental health issues and recovery processes.
• Stay informed about emerging research and best practices in mental health treatment to continually improve the support we offer our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with individuals dealing with substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health challenges. You will provide compassionate support to patients in various stages of recovery, from those seeking initial detoxification help to others who are further along in their treatment journeys. Your understanding of solution-focused techniques will empower these individuals to build resilience and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license recognized by the state of Texas.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions that promote effective outcomes for clients in crisis.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interaction with patients and team members alike.
• Proven problem-solving abilities that enable you to navigate the challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, particularly in mental health or addiction treatment environments.
• Experience working remotely and managing caseloads independently would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client records and treatment plans.
