What you'll do Docusign is looking for an experienced and motivated Indirect Tax Analyst to join our indirect tax team.

In this role, you will focus on US state and local sales and use tax and global value added tax (VAT) and goods & services (GST) tax research, compliance, and reporting. We are looking for a team player that will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Indirect Tax Director.

Responsibilities Maintain annual tax compliance calendar to ensure all tax filing deadlines are met. Assist in extraction and preparation of monthly indirect tax compliance data for US and global jurisdictions for delivery to outsourced compliance providers. Process indirect tax payments and prepare and post required indirect tax journal entries.

Prepare and reconcile quarterly account reconciliations. Research and draft responses to tax notices from various tax jurisdictions. Monitor and research indirect tax law changes proactively.

Prepare data and responses to audit information requests. Assist with monthly tax engine maintenance. Draft responses to customer tax billing inquiries.

Interface with outsourced compliance providers. Assist with special projects including M&A, process improvements, audit support, and tax technology implementations. Build relationships with other internal functions (e.g.

accounting, A/P, billing, collections, engineering). Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.

Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law. What you bring Basic Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance.

5+ years of indirect tax and / or accounting firm experience with experience in domestic or international indirect tax. Experience with Excel. Preferred Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to expand tax technical skills.

Public company multinational corporation experience or public accounting firm experience (i.e., Big 4). Master's degree in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA. Excellent tax research, analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent communications skills, including the ability to communicate cross‐functionally to tax and non‐tax professionals. Advanced technology experience with RPA or ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, UIPath, OracleBI).

Experience with tax engines (e.g. Avalara, Vertex, OneSource). Experience with ERPs (e.g.

Oracle, SAP). Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job‐related knowledge, skills, and experience. California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $97,000.00 - $133,300.00 base salary Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 - $139,525.00 base salary Washington DC: $101,500.00 - $139,525.00 base salary Ohio: $86,400.00 - $118,800.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre‐established sales goals.

Non‐Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
