Location: 100% Remote (EST/CST preferred)
Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours/week, flexible hours - eventually this will convert to 40 hours per week)
Contract Type: Ongoing Contract

About the Role:
Our design client is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join their team on a part-time, contract basis. This is a fully remote role with a flexible schedule—you choose when you work, as long as weekly deliverables and deadlines are consistently met.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an independent work environment, communicates clearly, and is committed to high-quality, reliable development work.
You can work this contract in addition to other contracts, but you MUST be able to commit 20 hours per week to producing quality work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based web applications

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code

  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions

  • Ensure clean, secure, and well-documented code

  • Meet weekly deadlines and participate in occasional check-ins as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience with PHP development (current/recent work)

  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases

  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment

  • Candidates in EST or CST time zones are preferred (client is based in Atlanta, GA)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks

  • Familiarity with APIs and integration work

  • Previous experience in a freelance or contract-based role
