Bright Minds Crisis Intervention Clinic is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals dealing with the aftereffects of trauma. Bright Minds Crisis Intervention Clinic is a leading outpatient facility located in Augusta, Georgia, specializing in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions. As part of the Bright Minds team, you will embrace a remote work structure that allows you to engage with patients while enjoying the comfort of your own home. This role requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient appointments. In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be entrusted with several key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans prioritizing trauma recovery, focusing on building resilience and implementing therapeutic strategies.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and support their overall healing journey.
• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for all patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while guiding them toward available mental health resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge of best practices and recent research developments in trauma therapy.

Our clinic primarily serves individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to physical, emotional, and psychological trauma. We aim to create an empowering environment for survivors, helping them regain control and rebuild their lives through specialized treatment plans designed for their unique circumstances.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience focused on trauma therapy.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showing compassion and a non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, providing calm and effective support to patients in distress.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid grasp of essential computer applications.
• A collaborative spirit, demonstrating the ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• In-depth experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Specialized training in evidence-based practice methods relevant to trauma recovery.
