Job description

Overview
As a Senior Relocation Consultant, you are responsible for assisting the Team Lead in providing comprehensive relocation services for corporate clients and their transferring families. You are responsible for the successful service delivery of all relocation services utilized by clients, including relocation policy counseling, home marketing assistance, Buyer Value Option (BVO), Guaranteed Buy out (GBO) administration, home search/home purchase services, mortgage assistance, temporary living assistance, household goods move management, financial administration, etc. The Senior Relocation Consultant also monitors the performance and timely response of vendors assigned to assist with or support, the above activities. The Senior Relocation Consultant also acts as a mentor and first line of escalation for the Level 1 and 2 Relocation Consultants in the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Review and explain relocation policies, procedures, and benefits to transferees.
  • Manage policy components to assure compliance.
  • Thoroughly explain home sale programs to transferees.
  • Assist transferees with contract negotiations, review and approve contracts with bona fide outside buyers, review and approve inspections, negotiate repairs if necessary, and aid transferees and agents with the closing of the property with outside buyers.
  • Monitor progress and assure transferees satisfaction with service.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects, from communication and presentation to appearance and interactions, consistently exceeding expectations with clients and in the organization.
  • Assess transferee needs and provide services and resources to meet those needs.
  • Manage and coordinate services and benefits to possibly include temporary living, home marketing, and home sale, BVO, GBO mortgage (consultation and/or resources), home purchase, rental-departure and destination, expense management, household goods movement, set up candidate tours, and any future approved services.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Team Lead, appropriate internal and external service providers, and appropriate client contact regarding the day-to-day management of assigned transferee activity.
  • Monitor progress and ensure the transferee's satisfaction with services.
  • Mentor Level 1 and 2 Relocation Consultants
  • Identify and execute training needs and develop learning objectives aligned with business goals.

Qualifications
  • Real Estate License encouraged.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in real estate and/or corporate relocation.
  • 2+ years of college or strong academic history preferred.
  • Very good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer, database, and Microsoft Office experience.

  • CRP designation is not required but encouraged.
